Liz Lisa Christmas Outfits

Hi! Hi!!

How's the Festive Season treating everyone? I'm sure in between all the shopping for Christmas gifts, baking and decorating you might be a little stuck for what to wear to all those lovely Christmas Gatherings!
But never fear, Liz Lisa is here XD.
I've made a video with various Liz Lisa dresses, shoes and coats. I think I've covered most occasions XD
Video is here!

First is a Elegant Look;
 This coat was originally an exclusive to the Shibuya 109 store (as far as I'm aware) and I wanted it really badly when I saw it but didn't want to get a shopping service so I didn't bother getting it but it made it's way to the outlet a year later (only in the brown colour,). It's really heavy so it's warm. Normally I wouldn't leave the fluff on a coat in case it gets dirty or in the way but I would wear it to a party or at nights when it's really cold out.
And of course I had to wear some sparkly shoes.
 I don't wear this dress as often as I wish I did, I really like it though and I'm glad I did. It's really lovely in real life and it's so pretty. I do really love organza overlays so this dress is lovely. The necklace has beads which are exactly the same colour as the dress so it goes perfectly.

Bag: Oh la la

For a more Traditional Holiday Look;

A deep red dress of course! I paired this dress with black because I didn't have anything else to with it actually.
My tights have cute metallic gold bows on them which makes the tights more 'special' in my opinion. I think any sort of lacy tight or printed tight will look more special than regular plain black or white.

Dress: Liz Lisa
Tights: Forever New
Bag: Tralala
Shoes: Tralala

For a Elegant Christmas;

 The lovely Liz Lisa x My Melody coat! I really love the look of this coat and I think it's really eye catching. Perfect for a fancier occasion.

This is one of the three Christmas Dresses from Liz Lisa. I bought it in the lavender colour (thought I think it looks bluer on camera) and I'm really happy with it. This dress is really stunning and very eye catching - perfect for a fancier occasion.

Dress: Liz Lisa
Necklace: Forever New
Bracelet: Liz Lisa
Bag: Liz Lisa

For a tropical Christmas;

I wanted to include something for warmer weather. A Summery dress in a bright print is really easy. I paired it with other bright colours that are in the print to keep it looking polished.

So, what will you all be wearing for Christmas?
Thanks for reading!

[Review] Jill Stuart Crystal Bloom Perfume

Hi! Hi!

Today I'm going to review the latest perfume from Jill Stuart, Crystal Bloom.
This perfume isn't exactly new to Jill Stuart but it is still their latest fragrance.

I'm sure you'll all aware I love Jill Stuart and when I saw this bottle, I new I wanted to try this perfume.
This is the first time I've ever bought a perfume because of the bottle. I love the crystal flowers on the lid of the container and this it's such a lovely bottle, even the diamond shape is quite unique.

These are the 'notes' of the perfume as listed on the Jill Stuart website; here.

Fragrance: Crystal Floral Accord
Sweet Pea, Snowdrop, Neroli, Orange*, Greens

Edelweiss, Magnolia*, Rose*, Freesia, Jasmine*, Raspberry

Tutu Accord, Fragrant Olive*, Gardenia*, Ylang- Ylang, Moss,
Cedarwood*, Musk, Amber

*Natural Fragrance

When buying perfume online, it's best to look at the notes, I knew I would like it because I (generally speaking) like most of the scents in the perfume.
The perfume is also very floral and there's not much in between to break it up or add depth. If you want to smell like a bouquet of flowers, this is a great scent.
If you're reading that and wondering what tutu accord is,

The Tutu Accord allows more than 100 different materials to each bloom individually, and overlap on top one after the other.
From the sparkling top note, brushing with clean, refreshing flowers, into the middle note, where dignified cleanliness and kindles waver together.
The transition to the base note gradually overtakes you with enveloping kindness, providing a lovely and lasting translucent sweetness that lasts.

When I was reading about this perfume it was the tutu accord that caught my eye the most and was what I was most interested in.
To be honest, I still have no idea what is it but I do know that this perfume is quite nice.

 Also, the perfume is a very pale pink unlike the picture above where it's more vivid.
Please note this is the 30 mL option and this perfume comes in two size offers, 30mL and 50 mL.

Before I try to describe a perfume to you, let the Jill Stuart tell you what it's suppose to be;

A bouquet of flowers realize an instant that shines beautifully forever,
providing the most translucent, lovely fragrance in the world.

The top note is a crystal pure floral note, woven from refreshment and charm.
The delicate sweetness of Sweet Pea and Snowdrop create a gentle fragrance,
while Neroli and Orange bring out unlimited translucency.

The middle note is a crystal floral note, spreading wide, fragile yet full, like a scattering of lovely flowers.
The clean, dignified white flower, Edelweiss, brings with it a clear fragrance and sparkle, with the gentle fragrance of delicate flowers enveloping you in clear comfort.

The door to the base note is opened by the original Tutu Accord*, bringing depth to the entire fragrance with a powdery, sweet veil, inviting you into a world of pure, unsullied sensations.

A crystal sensual note with an appealing fragrance that offers both translucency with depth.
A complex mix of lovely flowers blend with the musk, recreating the gap between a girl and a woman.
One of the top perfumers of the world, Christine Nagel, has skillfully completed in forming the concept of Jill Stuart’s as a clear and floral.

Basically, to me, this perfume reminds me of a slightly more complicated, sophisticated version of Marc Jacobs Daisy.

For reference; these are the notes in Marc Jacobs Daisy;
Top Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves
Mid Notes: Violet Petals, Jasmine Bouquet
Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla Infusion

I think it reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy because it's quite a light perfume and it's neither too sweet or too floral, too strong or too weak. It's not really here or there, to be perfectly honest. That sounds like a negative but I think it makes it suitable for lots of different occasions.
This perfume isn't too over powering and it's really nice for those days when you don't want to smell too strong but you want to smell nice.

I have to say, I do reach for this perfume over a few of my other because it smells nice but not too strong. If you want a sweet yet gentle fragrance that lasts a while on your skin then I really suggest this one. Normally perfume fades on me significantly through out the day but this one just seems to linger on me which I really like because it means you don't have to carry it around with you and reapply throughout the day which is convenient.

It's a very 'safe' scent in my opinion because it's so light but so feminine it's suitable for many occasions, like parties, to work or everyday to more formal events. I think this is a scent that's very appropriate for lots of ages as well.
I think it would suit younger as well as older women quite nicely.

This is the box the perfume comes in - the patter and colours are lovely.

And the crystals, on the top of the perfume bottle. This really makes the perfume bottle stand out and look spectacular. They're actually all one piece so you don't have to worry about them falling off or breaking if you do decide to travel with it.

This is a nice perfume and I think if you like gentle floral scents, it's worth a try. Personally, I quite like it, I wouldn't rank it as my favorite perfume or scent but I do like it quite a lot and I would repurchase despite it not being my favorite.
I do love the bottle and think it's stunning however.
If you love beautiful perfume bottles I think that this is a must for you.

 Do you guys have a favorite type of scent? What makes you buy a perfume - is it the description? The Bottle? The Brand? Let me know!

That's all for this blog post - I'll see you guys very soon!

[Haul] Guerrilla Sale - Liz Lisa and Tralala

Hi! Hi!

A while ago Liz Lisa was having a decent sale, and I decided to purchase quite a few things because
a.) a lot of the items I had been eying were in the sale
b.) Prices were decent
c.) I generally seem to like Autumn style more than Winter (I don't really require a lot of Winter clothing where I live so I might as well purchase more Autumn stuff while I have the chance,)

First thing I was after was this dress,
The best thing about this dress is it can be worn two ways.
(Or three if you consider off the shoulder an other way to wear this dress,)

 Originally Emi pointed out this dress and I thought we would both get it. The Silhouette is interesting and I figured even if I didn't love the top, the dress was lovely and I would wear it quite often. I think when I purchased it, there was only 2 left in the red so it was a when I got it or never.
If you're lucky to live somewhere where Christmas is cold, this would make a wonderful Christmas dress.

 I'm still not sure how I feel about the removable top - I like it in pictures but I feel like in real life, it's quite poofy and sticks out a lot and I'm on the fence if I like it or it just looks weird.
 The back of the top. You have to untie the bow to get the top on which is annoying unless you have someone who can make it look pretty for you.

 The top is quite small so you can bring it with you if you would like to wear this dress to different places on the same day.

And how it looks without the top. I think it's a great fit.

I also got this Penderie dress in brown.

To be honest, I like this dress and I'm glad I got it because I think it'll be really versatile to wear but I don't really think the dress itself is particularly special.
I'm glad I have it and the fit is quite nice.
I paired it with a Liz Lisa cardigan.

 Liz Lisa Skirt in Navy + Liz Lisa Plain Blouse in Red

I really wanted this when it was released at the beginning of Autumn but I have to admit I wasn't expecting it to be so long on me but I still like it regardless. There's a lot of fabric in this skirt so I think it'll be great for Winter as well as Autumn.

 I also got the skirt in red because at the time I couldn't decide which one but I'm glad I got both because I really like them and I think they're lovely skirts. The fabric on these is really heavy, and it's almost like a blanket or a quilt which is pretty much perfect for a cold Winter day. You'll be able to be fashionable, elegant and warm all at once.

 Do I look like a teacher like this? I feel like I look like a teacher XD.
The blouse I'm wearing with the red skirt is this;

Blouse in Ivory.

This blouse is really pretty and I love the half sleeve. I wish it had come with a camisole to wear with it as well because the blouse is definitely cream but I don't have a cream singlet (only white) and I think it might be obvious with the white under it.
I really love the collar on this blouse! There's some fraying going on in the collar which is really odd because it arrived like that which is kind of unusual for Liz Lisa I guess, normally everything arrives in good condition so I guess if that's something that worries you I would advise you to stay away but it doesn't really both me too much because I really like the blouse itself and I can simply cut the loose threads easily.

Penderie Checkered Skirt

Pink Version

 Green Version

Brown Version.

I purchased all three because it was a good price and I literally couldn't decide which one to get lol. When in doubt get them all XD. I really love this skirt though and I think I'll be wearing it a lot. I like the lace that peaks through and this skirt feels nice quality and it's lined and fits nicely. I also quite like the length - it's not too long and it's not too short. I really like the slightly longer length on this skirt.
The fabric really isn't too heavy but it would be suitable to wear with tights on cooler days.

Tralala Blouse

I've actually worn this a few times and I like it a lot. It fits really well and it's pretty comfortable.

 Matching Hair bands

 I bought these in a different sale but they were the same price in the Guerrilla Sale.

Tralala Two Tone Patent Heels

These are really comfortable from what I could tell and I really enjoyed them.
These shoes are not too high either and I love the pink colour. Originally I wanted the beige x brown but they were sold out at time but the pink is cute.

Aaaannnnddd... I made a video - here...
