Liz Lisa shoe collection (and tralala)

Edit: I will be updating this blog post with all my new Liz Lisa shoes as I buy them.
Updated:  23/02/2016

Hi! Hi!

I decided today, I would take pictures of all my shoes from Liz Lisa because Bee asked too see more of my wardrobe, and more Liz Lisa. I love Liz Lisa and I love shoes. ^.^ (I doubt anyone reading this is shocked by either of those statements,)

I feel a bit weird sharing my clothes not wearing them because... well, I feel a bit of a show-off. But I will review these shoes and let you know about sizing so maybe more people will buy them.

And just so you all know, I've never paid full price for a pair of Liz Lisa shoes. Ever. I normally wait until they go on sale + I have a coupon code for the web store. The good thing is, unlike the popular dress of the season they don't sell until they go on sale. Phew.

Links to all the shoes will be provided to if possible.

The first pair of Liz Lisa shoes I ever bought. I really just fell in love with them. They were on sale and I was so unsure they would fit me but I loved them so much I was willing to take the risk. I bought them and waiting anxiously for them to arrive. When I got them I tried them on and they fit pretty perfectly! I was so happy and couldn't believe my luck! Since there were my first shoes from Liz Lisa, they def have a special place in my heart.

Second pair I bought from Liz Lisa. I think I bought these in the boxing day sale so I got them quite cheap... but I can't remember how much for :/ I really wanted to wear them on New Years Eve and I know I didn't wear these on NYE I can't remember if it's because they didn't come in time or I just didn't wear them though.
Funnily enough, I think these are my most worn Liz Lisa shoes. ^.^ They are super comfortable and stable to walk in. I was worried the glitter ankle strap would be itchy and hurt. But it's not. Also, I these have never shed glitter, which was another concern for me.

The ankle strap is actually functioning on these as well. (as are buckles on shoe four!)

Liz Lisa Ankle Boots in Brown

Second most worn pair of Liz Lisa shoes. Love these, and they are great. They remind me of Jeffery Campbell Litas but way cuter. I've always wanted them but they were pricey and I didn't know what size I needed. I got these instead and I like these so much!

Um... sorry I think it got cloudy and then flash happened. Sorry. :/

I'm interested in selling these however I'm not going to list these anywhere so if you're interested in them, please contact me privately at; lolita.next.door@gmail.com.

Liz Lisa Frilly Wedges in Beige

I got these at the end of Summer, I realize that they look maybe a tiny but small on me but I think that they feel really comfy so I always reach for these the neutral colour means that they pretty much go with everything and for me, these are a pretty decent height. I understand they might be high for some though.

Liz Lisa Wedges in Yellow

Happy yellow wedges. I wore these a few times and they are really nice! I love how bright and happy they are.

Details - These boots have hidden heel in them and so you can trick everyone into thinking you've magically grown 4 inches and they'll never suspect a thing.
Also... these are a little big more me (Lol) so I'll definitely need socks with them.
Actually, funny story, I really really wanted these in beige but they sold out when Liz Lisa was doing the 50% for members sale so I decided I wanted the pink. Got the the end of the transaction before commit that I changed my mind and went for the brown! Wtf. So much trouble.
I don't know why I do these things. I like the brown... I'm so confused why I didn't get the pink though.

These are from last Spring/Summer 2013 but they're in the outlet right now. I really regretted not getting them last year but lucky me! They were in the outlet waiting. I would have preferred the white but hey! I'm fine with the pink colour.

I bought these ones because I really love pair seven and they're so comfy and I wear them all the time. Was tossing up white or pink but I have the beige in the other pair so I thought the pink was more unique. Next year I will get a brown pair, I hope because I really enjoy these shoes.

Tralala

 Pair One

I recently bought some Tralala shoes and I'm really in love with these! I love the red colour and they are a great everyday shoe because they are a good height and close toed.

The bow is detachable as well!
The buckle is only for looks. There's like a clasp that you kind of hook into place... I guess that's the only way I can describe it.

Pair Two

 Pink inside- so cool!!

I wore these recently and I really liked them! They were comfy and really easy to walk in and I totally recommend them.
 Pair Three

 Tralala ankle boots in black.
You may think these boots are flat. Other people may think these are flat. You and they are both wrong. There is a hidden wedge in the shoe. (Where the stitch on the back of the boot is,)

So that's all the Liz Lisa shoes, I own... for now!
I keep seeing more and more I want... :/

Anyways, if your interested in buying Liz Lisa shoes, which I will recommend, here's some information for you.

Boots run big!
If you normally wear L in Liz Lisa shoes, like me, go for an M. If you are normally too big for Liz Lisa shoes, try the boots and buy them in L. ^.^
Other than that, I think they run pretty true to size and there's not much difference is sizing.

Liz Lisa shoes are very stable. If you have trouble in heels, these might be okay for you. The soles of the shoes have those love hearts and the Liz Lisa logo really grip to the ground thus making you feel secure and safe in these shoes. I'm not being biased though.  They really are.

They're really cute! Lol!
Oh, they aren't leather. So they won't stretch the same as leather. They will give and not be as stiff as a new shoe so if you think the shoes might be too small there's no way to make them bigger as such.
Sorry...

Liz Lisa shoes, the buckles are 'fake' on all my Liz Lisa shoes. All Liz Lisa shoes are nail friendly! You apple with these um... clip things or zips! Okay they function they make the straps shorter/longer but once you've done that you probably won't need to tough it ever again. So you can just put your shoes on and pop the clips in and your done! Off you go! Takes so much less time than a buckle as well, I'm sure everyone who has been in a rush getting ready knows how much every little second counts.

Also, a picture of the mat I was standing on if anyone was wondering what it looked like ^.^

Okay!
That's all for this post. Actually took me ages to write. :/
I hope everyone enjoyed reading it and liked the pictures. I hope they turned out okay minus that one with flash.... ^.^

Thank you for reading
Berri Doll

  2. I'm guessing boots run bigger so that you can wear socks with them.

I'm always so jealous of people who can wear Liz Lisa shoes. I meet the width requirements (my feet are narrow), but I think my feet are just a little too long.... Sometimes, I still want to get them, even at the risk of my feet hanging off the edge slightly, lol.

Anyway, I absolutely love your collection! This is the kind of collection I want to have myself!

    1. Yeah, I would think so too! I think it's worth trying, maybe get a open toe pair to start with?? I think they are really comfy and they are so pretty!! I always get compliments when I wear them which is really embarrassing because most people don't know where I get them... :/ Oh well!

    2. I also have another question.
I was wondering if this ever happen to you with liz lisa.

So I use the cart system and put in my card #, but the next page I wasn't sure what to put in so I tried to go back but the Vent Cart said that some items changed so I wasn't able to finish my purchase, but my bank account was charged a $1 transfer fee to Vent because I put in my card # and I allowed the money to go through. I wasn't able to finish my purchase though, do you think that Vent is going to take my money out of my bank account even though I didn't finish the confirmation of my purchase but put in my card #?

      Delete
    3. Hmmm, I would say if you didn't get a confirmation email... they probably didn't (*note: you would get an email straight away) BUT I would suggest checking your bank account and seeing if you amount has been taken from the card because that's the only way you'll know.
If the amount hasn't been taken out, they haven't charged you.
In my experience they don't charge you until you hit the final confirm button.
      I hope that helps.

    4. Last time it took Liz Lisa 3 weeks before they took money out of my account, do you suggest that I wait 3 weeks to see if they did take out the money?

    5. Try messaging them then! Just use a translator, I've done this before and it was fine and just ask them, if a sale for whatever you were buying has gone though! They respond pretty quickly in my experience ^.^

      Delete
    6. Should I contact Vent or does Liz Lisa(Because I am not sure how to contact them) have an email they use?

Sorry, for asking you all these questions.

    8. Hi, I was also wondering how long it took them to get back to you because I emailed them a week ago and they still haven't replied back. Do you think I should send them another email?

      Delete
    9. They still haven't responded??! Are you using tenso? Did the package get there yet? If not, I would say that the payment didn't go through you know, because normally the package gets there quick!

      Delete
    10. Yeah, Liz Lisa still hasn't responded to my email. Yes, I was going to use tenso and no email about a package arrived yet.

ok, thanks for your input. It has been really helpful. c:

    11. That's okay!! I'm happy that you trust me enough to ask for help! It's really flattering! Maybe email them once more and check your credit card details... if nothing has happened soon, I would just buy another pair... personally. I don't think the transaction has gone though... I don't *think*.

  12. Hi~ I came to your blog through poupéegirl xD (I'm Mikael).
    I love all of your shoes. Actually I want them all xDD I have the pink ones with the high heels/plateau as well. It's true that shoes somehow never sell out before they go on sale, but you have to be really fast. somehow everytime the color I want the most is sold out first;_;
btw which size do you usually wear in Liz Lisa shoes? I once bought shoes in M size and they were way too small, then bought some in L size and they were way too big=_= I really hate their sizing xDD

    1. Firstly, welcome to my blog!! ^.^ I recognize your username from Pupeegirl! Hiiiiiii~
I love those shoes too, they are just... so pretty~
And I normally wear a L in Liz Lisa... but sometimes I CAN fit in a M... normally in boots though. But I prefer the L so I can wear socks with them and stuff. Lol.
But yeah.. the sizing seems inconsistent sometimes.

    2. Thank you(^-^)

      I also prefer wesring socks with themxD too big is always better than too small;-;

  13. I am drooling over your LizLisa collection! Soooooo pretty! I want to get LizLisa boots and heels/wedges and have questions about the sizing. I'm a US size 5.5 to 6, but 90% of the time I'm a size 6 and find that 5.5 is a bit too tight on me. If I buy the LizLisa boots, and as you've mentioned in your post, they run a bit bigger, should I get a size S over a size M?

And as for LizLisa heels/wedges, should I buy the size S or M? Inn my research, I'm led to believe that size S is usually for size 4.5-5.5, if I'm not mistaken. I just don't want to be wearing heels/wedges and feel like they're gonna fall off when I'm walking due to too much wiggle room if I get a size M. And I'm also afraid that if I get a size S it will be too tight and uncomfortable. Sorry for my long drawn out comment. Haha, but it seems like you have a lot of experience with LizLisa shoe sizes, so I'll use you as a resource :)

    1. Thank you!! Um, I don't have experience with the Small size - I would say, maybe for boots try S (Unless you really really really want to wear thick socks + tights with them, then go M,) and for heels try and M - just in case, but something tells me, you may fit into a S possibly. I would say, just wait for a sale and try Lol. Worst advice ever but it's the only way you'll really know, if in doubt - go the bigger size (M) and you can wear socks/tights/insoles with them since Liz Lisa shoes aren't leather they will not stretch like leather so the M will be the best bet for you. Ah, hope that helps you.

  14. Hi Bunny! Great post on Liz Lisa shoes! I have the same problem with Kim above. I usually wear EU 38/38.5 - this differ depending on brands or where they were made (I have to wear EU 39 for shoes made in China). The sizing charts on the internet give EU 38 to be equivalent to Japan 23.5 and EU 38.5 = Japan 24, which translates to Liz Lisa size M and L respectively.
And recently I bought a pair of heeled oxford shoes from Axes Femme size L and they were slightly too big on me. So the question is, should I go for M or L for Liz Lisa shoes? I'm afraid M would be too small and L too large. :(

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated! :)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I wear a European 38.5 so I'd say go an L personally just because Liz Lisa shoes are not leather and don't stretch so going bigger is a better option because if they're tight they'll just hurt and be hard to walk in while L you can still wear + add insoles etc. Also, look for things like, ankle straps and laces that will hold your foot in if they are a bit on the bigger side. For boots I would say try an M would be my suggestion. Honestly, looking at this post now and all the shoes I've been lucky enough to try, I'd say the sizing is not the same for all shoes AT ALL which makes it really hard.
